Hey Chuck2010,

try this: slide the Power Button to power on and keep it in that position for some time (about 1 minute or so, or until your finger cramps) then it should power on. If not, release the button and immediately slide it to power on again.

Or another thing you could try is to plug into usb for a while without pressing any button, then unplug it and leave the player for some time untouched (1 or 2 days) and then try the procedure (holding the power button in the power on position for a while as described above) again.

Can't tell you why but these things worked for me. But it was a lot of try and error.

Hope that helps and that you can enjoy your rockboxed clip again.

Greetings,

Hey CK,

Tried everything you have suggested and nothing,,,nothing at all. I did a very good job on this clip!

Chronon:
If there is any crackle at all when you insert headphones then it means the unit is powered on (but is crashed).  Wait a while longer for the battery to discharge (when there's no longer any sign of life from the unit) then try recharging again.  After the charging circuit forces a power down due to low charge, the crash should be resolved and it should boot normally again (once it has enough charge).

hopefully what worked for you will work on my clip.

there is nothing at all...no crackle nothing. Is there any hope for this player to make it work again?
