I would like to donate my Fuze to a developer.
« on: November 01, 2010, 07:03:41 PM »
Hi All,

I bought a Clip+ today and installed Rockbox on it and it works great.

I don't need my Fuze v1 player now.

If a developer needs it for doing Rockbox work, please let me know and I'll mail the player to you.

Cheers,
Steve

Does it have problems with the current build and playback? If it doesnt then there is no need (thanks anyway though). I tihnk just about anyone interested in the fuze has one already.

If it does show the problems in http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/11608 then it would be very useful

Audio Addict,

If it doesn't have any problem playing audio as described here, and you really have no need for it...I'll gladly take it off your hands.

I'll pay for postage ;)

Just as a note (and I know you weren't in any way trying to suggest that you were, [St.]), but [St.] isn't a dev (I only mention as I find the artist badge confusingly similar) :)

Since I believe AlexP is correct (in that all interested dev's have one) I propose the following to maximize the benefit to Rockbox, and to create a little fun.

1 - Send the fuze to sss.
2 - (sss offered to do this for free, but I'll pay all costs) Have sss upgrade the Fuze to 16MB of RAM.
3 - Auction off the MegaFuze on ebay (again I'll cover all costs) and donate the monies directly to the Rockbox fund.

I think with a little advertisement on here and abi we can stir up some excitement.  Perhaps Bagder could throw a Rockbox sticker into the box as well?

Hi JD,
The Fuze I have doesn't have any problems at all with Rockbox. It works perfect.

Hi Soap,
I'm happy to pay the postage to send it in for the project you stated. It has a silicon cover that goes with it too. Just let me know where to mail it to.

Cheers

The fuze was apparently never sent.  This thread was a silly trick.  :P

Your loss.
