Skip length in SID playback
« on: October 31, 2010, 08:21:36 AM »
Hi

I'm a great fan of SID playback in Rockbox. However, when travelling it's quite annoying that the tracks need to be skipped manually. The skip length feature can't be used right now because it obviously requires that the played time is moved on. That's not the case in order to use played time for subtrack skipping.

Now, I'm wondering whether there is a way around that. Either skip length should be made independent from the played time shown but consider the time actually played, or there should be a switch for the SID component to choose between subtrack compatibility and correct played time display.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? Maybe there's another solution I haven't come across.
