Toshiba MK1234GAL drive not working (ata -32 error)

(1/1)

Hello smart people.  I have tried to install RB and this drive into my iRiver H320.  I was able to format the drive via USB and the original iRiver firmware.  I can also transfer files that way.  I used the rbutility v2.5 and installed RB 3.6.  When I boot with RB i get an ata -32 error.   I can then connect to USB and run the USB bootloader.  So I connected that to ubuntu (first time using it) and looked for  hidden partitions.  None found.  I also tried the methods found in the MK1231GAL thread (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=25856.0) and had identical results.
I guess what I really want to know is what the ata -32 error is? ???
Thanks

Hmm - I just noticed that it reports as 14,332MB in the regular firmware boot (14GB).  Being a 120GB drive I'm guessing there is something wrong with it?  And same as above in an H120.

2nd Hmm - I dumped over 20GB of data onto the drive and now it shows 93,782 MB free space remaining so it must be using # of sectors to calculate.  Drive is fine so I'm thinking something with RB :(
