Problems with compiling / installing compiler

Thanks, I was able to install the compiler via using "su -c ./rockboxdev.sh" but now I seem to have another problem while trying to run the makefile.  Basically, after I type in make so that it runs the makefile built in the previous steps, I get these errors.



Any help on what this might be?

You've configured for the GoGear 6330. Since that player isn't in the automated build system (unless I've overlooked it) I wouldn't expect it to build at all, since this usually means its in an early stage of development. The front page also lists it as unusable.

To check if your build setup is working try a build for a target that uses the same toolchain but is considered stable. Any of the Ipod should do.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I ended up getting the iPod one to work so then I thought it might be an error on my part so I deleted the directories I had created previously for the gogear and it worked this time. My assumption is that since the compiler wasn't there before and I had tried to run the build via the 'make' command, it probably interfered with something and prevented it from working after the compiler had been installed. Everything works fine now. Thanks for the help!

Edit: One last question. I can't seem to manage to get the zip files that were created off of Debian. I'm using the VMWare Player linked to on the Rockbox website, and it says to get the files off of it using Samba. Unfortunately, I'm not really savvy at all about how to use any of these things and when I tried to simply map a network drive on Windows to \\debian\user with the information provided on http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/VMwareDevelopmentPlatform , it just tells me that I'm not able to connect. Could someone possibly help me? Thank you
