I can't imagine that there will be a lot of strategising happening, it's more about the drinking and having fun 

The only strategising that'll be happening will be "which beers to get this round" and "should I have another lemon drop?"

Not that is really matters, but due to a last minute trip to Hong Kong, I won't be able to meet up with you fine RB folks and buy/share drinks with you in NYC as I am not slated to return until the 31st.  :'(

Clearly my loss - I am very sad about this as I very much wanted to meet some of the people responsible for so much musical joy I have been having.

I do hope you have a great time in the Bad Old Apple and also hope another opportunity like this will arrive again soon.
