I'm certain no one will stop you from porting to this player yourself.

So maybe my question was incorrectly worded - would the current software release work with the Fuze+? I see Fuze 2 and other Sansa players are listed but no clue on the Fuze+.
I'd def. prefer to have Rockbox than the current software - had it on my Archos and it ran great for 8 years. Too bad the batteries in it took a dive.
Checking versions - I see I am at ver 01.29.03A, so would that make it Fuze version one that works with Rockbox?
