Cannot uninstall Rockbox

Download a new sandisk firmware and copy it to your player.  Theres instructions on the sandisk website if you've never updated the firmware on your player before.

That doesn't work.  Not only does the Sansa Updater get stuck, manually copying the firmware file (fuzea.bin) to the player, then unplugging it & power cycling, does nothing.

How do I get rid of the Rockbox bootloader?  That seems to be getting in the way of the normal Sansa firmware update process.

After copying the fuzea.bin to the root of your Fuze, you must boot into the OF by holding the left button while turning on the Fuze.  When the OF boots, it will perform a firmware upgrade and power off when done.  When you power your Fuze back on, it should go straight into the OF.

confuzeduser:
Hey, thanks!  I didn't know about the "hold left" thing.  That was the key.

So now I'm back to the 1.02.31 original firmware.
