something i would love to see in rockbox related to volume control

on my e280 volume can be controlled by simply rotating the scroll wheel while in the WPS

i have looked but cannot find a way to disable that and would love to be able to set an option that would disable adjusting volume with the scroll wheel in the WPS

that is not a proper solution... i do need to be able to pause and skip tracks

There is no option for randomly disabling buttons or controls you want disabled while leaving others functional. Turn the hold switch on when you don't wish buttons pressed, and turn it off when you want to press something. That's what it's there for.

Short of editing the function behind the hold button theres no way to do this.
