Scrollbar Bar Tag

(1/2) > >>

MrMuh:
Hello,
I want to suggest a new feature for theme-creation. It would be cool to read out the current position of the scrollbar in the menus, so you would be able to create your own scrollbars. I imagine, this could be handled like the bar tag for the volume. I don't know much of programming rockbox, but since you already have a scrollbar implemented, it won't be too difficult to enhance this a bit (hopefully ;) ).
Thank you in advance!

I like this =P Maybe with this I could make a windows themed scroll bar lol.

JdGordon:
on the wishlist, not so simple to implement though... My end goal would be to eventually theme every part of the lists (so each list item would be themeable), no clue how to do it yet though.

I was thinking about having everything being able to be themed also. Like to be able to theme everything  on the main screen ( or anything else you wanted on the other screens as well )
Like this : http://www.classicmenu.8k.com/images/sansarockboxed.jpg .
Hmm... What about a border that is shown on every screen too if you wanted? Is that a possibility at least?

MrMuh:
I actually don't want to have everything customizable, that'll be too complex. But a new scrollbar would be a great step. The next one on my wishlist would be an independent setting for font size and menu entry. Currently the menu entrys gets scaled only by the size of the used font.

@redblade8: What do you mean exactly by "border"? Just a border as a static picture without scrolling would be somehow boring...
