E200 File access to Music

(1/1)

Avalon:
I have recently upgraded an E280 (8GB+4GB) to r28205-100925.

After upgrading, via the Main Menu/Files selection I see the following menu:
'<microSD1> PHOTO RECORD tmp Video VERSION'.

The MUSIC directory on the 4GB E200 was not listed but the music files on the 8GB microSD card were listed.  Prior to the upgrade, I had access to the Music directory on the E240.

In both cases I have 'Settings/General Settings/File View/Show Files/Supported' selected.

When I used Windows Explorer to look at the E240, the following directories were displayed as 'Read Only' and 'Hidden'.
'MUSIC PICTURES PLAYLISTS SYSTEM'

I then removed these file attributes from 'MUSIC PICTURES PLAYLISTS' using the properties functions.  The file menu in RockBox then listed:
'<microSD1> MUSIC PHOTO PICTURES PLAYLISTS RECORD tmp Video VERSION'.

I found the same result on an E240 (4GB+8GB)

Is there something which I could have done to cause this?

mc2739:
Booting into the OF will cause the 'MUSIC PICTURES PLAYLISTS SYSTEM' directory properties to change to 'Read Only' and 'Hidden'.

Avalon:
Thks,

I'll have to remember that.
