Support For GIF,PNG,JPEG & BMP Viewer. Also Select Zoom.

My idea is to implement an 'all' picture viewer. I hate having to switch from one viewer to another or convert pictures to just one format. If there could be a plugin that allowed the viewing of all pictures within one folder regardless of file extension ( or at least the option to ) , this would be a very good improvement.
- Another thing that I am proposing is the ability to select the pixels that you would like to zoom ( by selecting it in the viewer menu ) , then zoom onto those pixels you selected. ( It would work the same as selecting an image in rockpaint, except you can then zoom onto what you have selected. )

I couldn't find it--- so I posted here. I did however find a jpeg zoom . But I am proposing to be able to select pixels,and to able to zoom regardless of file extension( not just jpeg ) . The jpeg zoom post was just for zooming more, and not selecting pixels. I could not find a post for the ability to view all pictures in one folder no matter the extension though.

his is being worked on though? Maybe it is what I am typing into the flyspray ...and it is being picky about what I type in.

Should I lock this then if this is being done?

So, you propose a box zoom?  I.e. select the pixels corresponding to upper left and lower right corners of the new screen.

Yup, a box zoom is exactly what I am proposing =P
Pick any part of the screen you would like to zoom in to, select it with the zoom box, and click to zoom.
