Can Rockbox work on PhotoFast CR-7200 + 4 x microSD in iPod video?

I chanced upon this microSD-to-CF adapter from PhotoFast which can house 4 x microSD cards in raid-0 configuration. I am thinking of getting one to put in the iPod video but I am wondering if Rockbox can work with the adapter and if so, will it view the 4 x microSD as a single or multiple storage?

Assuming its a full blown CF device, and that its pin compatible with the Video,  it should work.

RAID0 means that the cards are combined into one large disk.

The iPod Video has a ZIF ATA disk interface, so if the adapter fits in a standard CF socket it won't fit in there.

The iPod Mini uses CF, it would work in that.

I will get a CF-to-ZIF adapter to fit the Photofast adapter into the iPod video but that sounds like quite a lot of connectors in there...

If that all physically fits inside and makes good secure contact, then it should work, but I'd be a bit dubious about it. Why do you want an iPod Video specifically anyway? Pretty much its only feature over the other iPods is being large enough to accommodate a decent capacity hard disk

Well, I got one in pretty good condition and rather cheaply (about 40USD). Just wanna mod it for the fun and what are the possibilities. But who knows, I may end up selling it to fund the HM602 or Sony M10.

Sorry to say but i have tired it, one year ago,I bought a TF to CF adapter(RMB 120),a CF to ZIF adapter(RMB 10),and connected a 8GB class4 NOKIA TF card to a ipod classic,but both windows itunes,mac itunes can't restore it.in fact, the stronge didn't work at all,finally i bought a mk2008gal(RMB 120),and my classic work again

Just because one particular combination of adapters didn't work for you in one particular iPod model doesn't mean this *won't* work, but it's a data point, yes
