ipod 4g and rockbox

Hi All,

First of all, I'd like to thank the community for making this awesome open source firmware.

Secondly,  I can't seem to get rockbox install properly on my ipod4g greyscale.  My apple firmware is 3.01 and I've tried installing rockbox 3.6 manually and using the windows installer.  Both times, upon resetting my ipod after installation, it stuck on the apple logo with backlight turned on.  Does anyone know how to work around this issue?

I was able run ipod in disk mode to uninstall rockbox.  I really wanted to try rockbox, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I cannot speak to your issue directly. However, I too have a 4G mono. Did an automatic install and it works great. Only minor issue I have is some of the themes are too dark and can't see anything. Just deleted those offending themes and then fine.
