Hi, it's been a long times since I've been on here.

I have an Archos Jukebox Recorder 20. Years ago I added Rockbox version 1.28. I'm trying to upgrade but the .rockbox directory is read only. I can't change it. Any ideas? The drive is an 80 gig that I put in.

My MP3 player died a few days ago so I dug this brick out of the closet. I can't really even remember how to use it and the batteries need replaced but it'll do the job. I looked for the docs on the Rockbox website and decided to upgrade at that time.

I need some help with the Read Only issues.

what is saying .rockbox is readonly? your computer? which OS? it could mean filesystem is stuffed

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
