faster way to switch equalizer presets?

(1/1)

gatoatigrado:
I notice that the "home" button acts as a shortcut when held down; is there any way to set one of the keys to a "load/switch equalizer preset" option? I don't need the "show certain file types" option set to two keys (up and down); I don't use it at all.

I have ATH-M50's, which have great bass extension, but I don't like quite so much of the super-low frequencies for certain albums. On my Clip+, it's a bit cumbersome to hold down select, go down 2 to sound settings, up 4 to equalizer, up 1 to browse, then finally select one.

Thanks,
Nicholas

I second the request for easier access to EQ presets or any of the EQ settings such as Graphic Equalizer.

Thanks! ;)

Chronon:
It's called the Quick Screen and you can assign certain functions to it as described in the manual.  Unfortunately, loading new configs (or shortcuts) via the Quick Screen is not supported.
