in my ipod 2gb first gen have a reg error

I began using the firmware Rockbox* just bought my ipod that I found very cool  ;D. but in the last few days began to appear some errors while listening to music   ???, and at the end every time I turn my ipod appears that error, I need your help please without my ipod I'm dying  >:(
the error says
"IO Error ATA2
Error reg. 64

I must assume that you mean Rockbox (rather than Rockbar) since these are the Rockbox forums.

Try booting Apple's diagnostic mode and test the disk.
