Questions about the Ipod Nano 2G port...

I just installed the current build (r28153) for the Nano 2G, and just trying to clear up some things.

I read the wiki for IPodNano2GPort

I'm trying to understand the consequences and issues with this "unstable" port. It has 3 items in 50%:

ADC driver: 50% Battery ADC seems to work, but fuel gauge needs calibrating

Power handling: 50% Currently switching 100mA/500mA based on "Car adapter mode", not based on USB enumeration.

CPU frequency changing: 50% No undervolting yet

What do these mean and how does it affect normal usage of the nano 2g? Does it affect battery life or charging from USB? It seems to be charging from a computer's USB port just fine.

Do these issues really apply to the build that I have (ie, could this page be obsolete?) What are some "real world" issues I can expect to run into with this build?
