Clip+ Select button on WPS always open file browser at first restart

On my Clip+ when I press select button in WPS, it opens file browser from the very root.
If I enter in a directory, the next time I press select button from WPS, it open file browser from the last opened directory.
If I enter database thrugh the menu and than from WPS press again select, this time it opens Database from the last location.

The fact that select button opens last opened file browser or database location is a very usefull feature,
BUT when I turn off clip+ and turn on again, select button has lost his memory and opens at the root of file browser.

Is it normal?

Yeah, it doesn't remember position across reboots.  There was a very very old feature request on the tracker about this before we stopped taking feature requests.  I'd quite like it to be remembered personally.

I'm pretty sure there is a technical reason for not being able to remember the database location (as opposed to the file browser which "just" needs a few lines of code to make it work)

Actually what I would prefer is if the file list was always opened showing the folder where the song being played is located in.

I often want to select a different file from the same folder as the one being played - but I have to start at root, or where I last opened the file list.

Today I heard a song and wanted to find out what the name was - after the player had switched to the next song (which I didn't want to interrupt). Having no idea in which folder I was, I couldn't find out easily.

Opening the folder of the current song is also the original software's behavior - for a good reason, I think.

read the manual, turn on "follow playlist" and pressing select will take you to the file currently playing in the browser
