timestretch crashes Sansa clip+
« on: September 21, 2010, 01:02:54 AM »
I installed Rockbox 3.6 ver r28131-100920 on a new Clip+ 2gb.   Everything worked fine until I turned on timestretch.   Now when I try to play a file (any file) I get:

Data abort at 308007B0
FSR 0x8
address 0x85fcb28b

If I reboot and turn of timestretch (reboot again to effect it) everything works fine again.

What to do?   Only reason I put Rockbox on was to play school lectures at 2x.

Worked fine on my older Clip 2GB non + model.

Reinstalled at r28190 level.   Works fine!

Thanks for the update.  :)

(Just to clarify: The build that you installed previously was not Rockbox 3.6.  It was r28131.)

There's something funny going on on the clip+ with timestretch. Having it enabled gives me weird symptoms, like an incomplete progress bar in the WPS. Additionally enabling dircache makes it very unstable. Not sure what causes this, but both timestretch and dircache allocate (large?) chunks of memory at startup.
