Crash when trying to play any music
« on: September 15, 2010, 08:49:02 AM »
Hi

I have a problem with my Fuze v2. Rockbox was working perfectly on it until the other day, when I tried an update with the r28058 version. Since then, I can't play any music, the player just crashes. I then tried with r28068 and r28070, the problem is the same. Here is the error message I get when it crashes (I'm copying it right now from r28068 version) :

Code: [Select]
Data abort
at 3080099C
FSR 0x8
(domain 0, fault 8)
address 0xD328C02A

The message is the same with all the versions I tried, but I think the address on the last line changed, though.

So here is the bug, but most of all, my question is : where could I find an older version (it was working fine before) ? I switched back to the OF, but I miss my Rockbox ...

Thank you, for your help and for the great work !

Try checking the disk for errors and reinstall rockbox.

Also do plugins work or crash in the same way?

You can find some (4) daily builds for fuzev2 here

Ok, problem solved.
I just tried the new r28094 version and it now works !

I think I won't try any update until the stable release ...

Thanks for the help !
