I have two Sansa e280s, a v1 and a v2. Both are running the latest version of Rockbox (3.6, released 2010/06/03). My plan was to get rid of the v1 once Rockbox once the v2 was supported, but I am holding on to it just now due to what appears to be screen 'flicker' on the v2.
Maybe it me being overly fussy, but the difference is very clear when the two players are held side-by-side. The v1 screen is nice and steady with strong colours. The v2 shows a slight filckering or strobing, this is most obvious when a colour gradient can be seen (e.g. highlighted menu item). It is also present when watching videos.
Is this something anyone else has noticed and is there anyway to resolve it? Update the screen refresh rate or something?
