The current Rockbox bootloader replaces the original firmware, so there's not a way to dual-boot (unless changes are made).

Okay,
is just the bootloader that is replaced.
So a boot menu is not impossible  :) ?

is just the bootloader that is replaced.

Rockbox replaces the original firmware with its own bootloader code which in turn loads the main firmware from disk. While it's technically possible to dual-boot the original firmware (i.e. read it from disk by the Rockbox bootloader) this is not implemented.

;D I hope that someday DualBootloader is available.

Because, on the Rockbox menu, i did not  functions JetAudio (BBE, 3D surround, Mach3Bass) who are the strength of Cowon.

if i understand the contents of the original firmware must be in the folder  .rockbox ?

No.  The current bootloader won't load the Cowon firmware regardless of its location.  If someone adds the ability to load the original firmware it won't be necessary to put it inside of the .rockbox directory.

Okay  :),
On the site i found it, in section "patches":
http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/5289?string=dual+boot&project=1&type[0]=4&sev[0]=&pri[0]=&due[0]=&reported[0]=&cat[0]=&status[0]=open&percent[0]=&opened=&dev=&closed=&duedatefrom=&duedateto=&changedfrom=&changedto=&openedfrom=&openedto=&closedfrom=&closedto=

You can tell me, what is the usefulness of these two files  ???

It's a tool for patching the original firmware and a patch to build a modified Rockbox bootloader.  It looks like there hasn't been any activity for quite a while and there were still some issues with it.

I'm quite sure a lot of people will disagree here. See also the entry on SRS WOW (which is a available on the iriver h100 / h300 series. I liked it in the beginning, but since I'm using Rockbox I don't really miss it anymore): http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/IriverFAQ#Will_Rockbox_have_SRS_WOW_like_t

I like the programs: calculator, lamp..., because it can sometimes help.
Classic games it's good when are bored, in the worst situations ;D
Adjusting the sound is a bit complicated, because it is so simplified  :-\
I think, a graphical equalizer that will be easier.

I see better the system Rockbox in complement, not as a replacement system.

But it's a very good job already  ;D for the Team !
