Fuze v2 rockbox bad checksum
« on: September 08, 2010, 06:39:26 AM »
Hi,
I have a Fuzev2 with firmware 02.03.33. The Rockbox Utility didn't work, so I tried to install Rockbox manually. I copied .rockbox to the fuze and made a bootloader. But rockbox doesn't start.
The rockbox screen shows up with a few lines of text:
"Loading firmware
Length ....
Checksum ...
Model name: fuze
Loading rockbox.sansa
Sum 38C907E
Bad checksum"
But after a few seconds the screen went black.
Any approaches?

You probably installed a .rockbox/ for Fuzev1 and not Fuzev2

Download the Fuzev2 build from http://build.rockbox.org/
