Sansa Clip V1 problem
« on: September 03, 2010, 06:00:23 PM »
I installed rockbox on my clip but i wanted to go back to the original. I did like it was said on the manual i deleted .rockbox folder and changed firmware with the original one. After ejected it from the computer it opened with rockbox screen and said file not found. I formatted it so i thought it would remove everything so i would install the original firmware(i guess that was stupid?) but still it says file not found even sansa updater doesnt see it (but pc does as a removable disk). It's name is rockbox media player at the safely remove hardware.... menu. I know that was stupid to mess with it before reading rockbox forums but this is about firmware i think this can be reversible.Sorry for my english...

ps: also when its plugged in to pc it says "bootloader USB mode"

Did you check that link?  You can fix this by putting an unmodified OF back onto the device.  You get the rockbox bootloader because you haven't done this yet.  Just boot back into the OF, copy the firmware, and you're done.

i still couldnt do it. I probably forgot something. I put unmodified OF to the root folder and when i take it off of the computer it should start updating. Am i forgetting something?(pretty sure i am...)
