Got Fatal Error: "I09:CPUAdrEr at 09011EA0"
« on: August 28, 2010, 02:14:30 PM »
Hello,

I use a Archos Recorder 20 with Rockbox 3.6.
After all files of a directory are played the Archos displays an error
Quote
I09:CPUAdrEr
at 09011EA0
Only with a "power off" the Archos leave this state.

Any hints or recommendations?

TIA, Ronald.

Because you said it happens after all files of your directory (playlist) have been played, I suspect that you have "Auto-Change Directory" enabled and suffer from this bug: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/11355.

Unfortunately the patch there doesn't solve it and you can only work around this by turning the option off, it is under "General Settings > Playback".

Many thanks. You're right. Option is disabled now and the error is gone. :)
Can I downgrade to v3.5?

Yes, you will note the task linked above is still open.  This means nobody has fixed it.

Hi @all and a happy NewYear,

i have here in Germany also this problem with the I09cpuAdr.error.

Maybe that this Problem only appears on USB2.0 Recorders?

On Dec2011 i had rework 6 Recorder with USB2 and all Devices have this Problem.
With USB1 Recorders i haven't this Problem with my old favorite version (Tom Cole's Rockbox build) - it  work's fine
BTW: "Auto-Change Directory" will not work on any Time, on any Versions of RB - i think - Archos Recs are unable to work with this feature?

Best Regards
