Okay I have been using RB on a E260 and i love it. I have gotten a newer 8GB Fuze v2.03.31, I tried to get RB installed but wants the OF bin file. I have found one patched OF at megauploads. So do any patched firmware bin work or do i have to find OF specific bin file for my version? Or do I still have to downgrade to .26?

Assuming you're using rockbox utility, a patched bin isn't going to work, since rockbox utility is the bin patcher. Patching a bad bin will brick your player, so I probably wouldn't use one you find on some random website anyway. Instead you should probably just download the one linked in the manual or else get a version of the OF you like from the sandisk website.

Okay i think i got it. I went to manual and clicked the link, i figured out i had to get the all regions firmware to get the bin in the zip. Now I just need to tell RB utility where the bin is and then am I good? It is a newer firmware that i got .33 is that all right? Thank you for your help.
