Not in any way that's remotely secure, no.

Devices like that have tamperproof hardware which in theory means they can't be copied - you have to physically steal the device in order to use it. Trying to do the same thing on an MP3 player would be trivial to copy since the data it depends on would have to be somewhere on the hard drive/flash and those are easy to access.
