It installs ok but when I unplug from usb it goes back to stock firmware ;( any tips?

Using FuzeA.bin

I've used 1.01.15a,01.01.22 and 01.02.26, haven't seen any newer ones, if someone would be so kind to link me to the latest that would be awesome!

What happens if you turn it off, then turn it back on?

From the SansaAMS wiki page:

--- Quote ---* SansaAMS  v1: To allow booting into Rockbox upon USB connection while power is off, you must create a new patched firmware upgrade file using mkamsboot v1.4 and a v2.0 bootloader file. Links to mkamsboot and the bootloader files can be found in the manual installation section below.
--- End quote ---

It sounds like you installed Rockbox on your Fuze with the RockboxUtility.  The fuze bootloader and mkamsboot bootloader patching utility have been updated since the latest version of the RockboxUtility was released.

Follow the manual installation instructions on the SansaAMS wiki page and patch a new firmware upgrade using the version 1.4 mkamsboot and the version 2.0 bootloader.  Copy the patched firmware upgrade file to your Fuze and rename it to match the name of your OF firmware file.  Safely remove and disconnect your Fuze.  You may need to reboot to the OF to initiate the firmware upgrade.

Once the firmware upgrade has completed, your Fuze should enter the Rockbox USB mode whenever connected, even when the Fuze is powered off.
