edit current playlist from computer (remote playlist control?)

Hi.

I've been using Rockbox on my Sansa e200 series player for a while now.  Everything was great.  Then I had a small accident with the player and the LCD is cracked.  So now I'll have to get a new player.  But in the meantime, I still want to use the player for listening to my music.  The playlist I was using before it broke only included one album and I want to switch to a different playlist that includes all the songs on the player but that is tough to do when I can't see anything on the LCD.

Is there some way I can change/edit which playlist is currently being played?  I think this might involve editing .playlist_control?  I was reluctant to tinker with it without knowing what I was doing because right now I can at least listen to the dozen or so songs on the one album in the playlist.

Or is there some other option I have for either controlling the player from my computer or at least viewing/emulating what would appear on the LCD while I use the controls on the player to change the playlist?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

An option would be to use the voice navigation system.
