Issue With Calendar
« on: August 19, 2010, 11:37:42 AM »
Hello to everyone on the Rockbox Forums, I'm having a little bit of an issue with the Calendar plug-in on my iPod Nano 1st gen running the r27804-100813 version of Rockbox.

When I go into the calendar it says that this month (August 2010) started on a Thursday, according to my computer's calendar, this month started on a Sunday. Naturally, this being wrong has messed up all the dates for all months in the calendar. My iPod's date and time are correctly set. What can I do to solve the problem? Or, is there something I'm missing?

Thanks in advance!  ;D

Yes, this could be a bug and is worthy of opening a bug report for (if it doesn't exist already, haven't checked that).

This may not necessarily be a problem in the calendar plugin, this could also be an issue in the RTC driver. Try setting the date/time again and see if the problem persists.

Hey all, sorry it took me so long to respond, my iPod has been going in and out of commission, it has some physical issues :P. None the less, I have ended up re-formatting the iPod, in doing that the calendar started working right, must of been some setting gone wrong.

P.S. Like it really matters, in the compatibility list for the apps that run on which players the iPod Nano doesn't have a check mark for the Calendar, like I said, doesn't matter, but seeing as I'm going to close this thread, might as well put it out there.

If you're talking about the PluginIndex page, please remember that it is a wiki.  The plugin pages could use some editing to bring them up to date.  Because of this, the PluginIndex page isn't complete at the moment.

I encourage users (particular of newer ports like the Sansa Fuze, Vibe 500, etc.) to edit the plugin pages to help bring them up to date regarding supported targets.
