Some questions about Sansa Fuze V2 rockbox
« on: August 17, 2010, 01:09:10 AM »
1. Why do, when I'm listening to music and I hit fastforward it takes 15-30 seconds to play the next song?
2. Why does when I play mpeg movies it freezes and doesn't do anything?
3. Why does it say data abort when I play certain doom addons and restate?
Any help would be appreciated!

Ok, let's start with the basics.

1. What version of Rockbox do you have installed, and how did you install it?

2. What format are your movies in?

3. Are any of the Doom addons which cause trouble for you able to be played on your PC with PrBoom?  Rockbox's Doom is a port of PrBoom and has the same compatibility limitations.

MPEG-1?  MPEG-2?  MPEG-4?  Or unknown with the .mpg extension?

Not all Dooms are created equal.  Are we talking PrBoom on your PC or not?

My movies just say mpeg as the file extension. No numbers. And yes my doom wads are playable with prboom.

Check what type they are in whatever program you made them in.
