Hi,
is there a way to test if my player could run RockBox?
It could be similar to supported models and we cannot know it.

The odds of your player having enough in common with one of the existing ports to be able to run an existing Rockbox install on it is nearly infinitesimally small.

DAPs just are not like PCs in that way.

You are right that it could be similar to supported models and we don't know it yet.  You can start by either identifying the internal hardware yourself or enabling other to do so.
