Can I buy any Sandisk Sansa Fuze?

Didgeridoohan:
As a former Iriver H300 user I can warmly recommend the Fuze. I've got the V2 myself and have hardly had any problems. There is the occasional crash, but nothing that a reset hasn't been able to fix. The size of the player combined with the large storage space provided by the microsd slot is absolutely brilliant!

It is pretty easy to change the battery in your H100... There are good tutorials on Misticriver.

Of course, a new smaller, flash based player, is an attractive proposition ;-)

I agree wholeheartedly with Didgeridoohan - the Rockbox/Fuze combination is excellent and has now become my daily player of choice.

My own stability has been quite excellent as well - only about 4 crashes in 2 months of near daily use [and I suspect 2 of the crashes were caused by me being a bonehead]...

FWIW...

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Looks like I'll try a Fuze or a Clip.

Would prefer not to buy a refurbished one, but they're just so goddamn cheap! ;)

Yeah, I know I could change the battery, but the battery costs ~$20 (about half the price of a Fuze) and I don't have the dedicated screwdriver needed to open it up.

I got mine from ecost and it was rev1. It's the 4GB version which I have an external 8GB microSD. I've had rockbox on it from v3.5.1 and is upgraded to 3.6.

$35.00

ecost also has the 8GB version but I don't know if they are the rev2 which is $40
