stay in rockbox fw and not switch out, has USB support now.

;D
Sansa e250R
Installed rockbox, then the build in the sig below.
Now I see there is USB support directly with rockbox.
No need for sansa's firmware.
How do I stop rockbox from switching into sansa's firmware when the USB cable is plugged in?
thanks

If it's anything like my Fuze, then the answer it to have the player powered up in Rockbox before you plug it into the computer.

You will need to install the newest bootloader (v 6.0).
You may also wish to update your Rockbox firmware using a recent e200 release or current build.
Instructions for installing the bootloader can be found here:
* For Windows: http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaE200RInstallationFromWindows
* For Linux: http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaE200RInstallationFromLinux

I did all that again. just as described.
e200rpatcher,
new firmware
the OF.mi4 in the system folder and the pp5022.mi4 (73k) in the root.
new build of .rockbox extracted.
Before, it said Boot Loader V 5.0
Now, it still says Boot Loader V 5.0
It continues to go into the sansa oem firmware when plugging in the cable from off.

Running e200patcher again should not be necessary, you only need to unlock your e200r once.
The v 6.0 bootloader is located here: http://download.rockbox.org/bootloader/sandisk-sansa/6.0/6.0/e200R/pp5022.mi4
Boot up your e200r into the OF by holding the left button while powering up.
Copy the v 6.0 bootloader (pp5022.mi4) to the root of your device.
Safely remove your device and press and continue holding the left button while you disconnect the USB cable so that the device reboots into the OF.
Once the device reboots into the OF, you can release the left button. The OF will refresh the database, and then display "Firmware upgrade in progress".
When your device reboots after the firmware upgrade, you should see Boot Ver. 6.0 when the Rockbox logo first appears.
