RockBox on 4G iPod and Parrot hands-free car system
« on: July 31, 2010, 05:27:19 AM »
I've searched all over the forums, but can't find the solution to my problem:

I'd like to use the dock cable provided with the Parrot MKi 9000 car hands-free system for playing music without using Aux-in cable. However it does not recognize iPod neither in RockBox nor in original mode.

I've checked the compatibility list (http://www.parrot.com/usa/support/onlinehelpfiles/compatibility-ipod/) and 4G iPod is not listed.

So is there a way of tricking the Parrot to detect the iPod as a newer version, similarly to what has been done here (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=24360.0) where the iPod is detected as an ordinary Mass Storage Device?
