sansa fuze v2 blocked black screen

(1/1)

pierrot:
hello
i just buy and don't resist to install rockbox on my brand new fuze v2

v2.03.31 installed

r26514 and fuzpa.bin that should get back the fuze to the v2.02.26
(here http://sansa-fuze.jimdo.com/rockbox/installations-manuelle/fuze-v2-win/) ::)

all was right before installing rockbox, i disconnected the fuze and i can see the rockbox screen
i try (bad idea ) to see what happen when i connect the fuze with rockbox the screen became black and the fuze unresponsive

i have of course read previous topic about the problem and it seems my only solution is to wait 3 days ; i don't hear anything on my earphones (no click as described)

can anyone give me the solution if (and i hope so) the fuze get back from his sleep. should i format the fuze and resintalled the  original sansa firmware
and which way with the sansa updater ? with which firmware (any sure adresses)

if someone have the same experience after this big bug  thks for sharing

thanks all for your help

Hello,
Yes I have the exact same problem.  Had everything setup and running nice. I was plugging the usb cable into the laptop for charging and everything went black...just like you described.  I hope 3 days works.
Something you might think about though...
Remember, a 2-3 second push on the slide turns the player off, and a quick slide turns it on.  Try turning off and then turning on, then plug in the earbuds and check for the crackle.  it's not much.
Good luck

my black beauty is now woken  :)

after the 3 days the screen get ok on rock for just 5 seconds and shut off because there's no more battery left   YEs

tks graveyard for your reply i don't even have the time to experiment for the crackles

very anxious experience though !!!!

i don't know if i will continue the rockbox adventure, just take a little time of thinking ; but if i experiment some other crash  ??? :o

if so how can i uninstall rockbox ? the fuzpa.bin seems to be an executable  and i don't sure what it install on my fuze. i See rockbox. and 2 files .bin. should i just cut them all ?
can anyone give me what the root file of the fuze contain before rockbox is installed

if i format on the fuze (parameter/system/format) should it be ok  ?

tks again
