New recording option

There is a such thing as HD radio ( streaming of both digital and analog waves simultaneously on  your radio ) You can currently record with either the sansa's microphone OR built in radio recorder. What about the option of being able to record with both at the same time? Though it wouldn't be HD radio really when recording, if I had a boombox with radio and it had its own radio on , recording of whats coming out of its speakers and recording with the sansa's built in radio recorder would allow for a much nicer recording.
---Also maybe an option to change what frequency you can record at? I would like to record at 44100HZ, but even 24000 would be fine...

Is FM radio really this unappreciated that no one has replied to this? Hm...anyways, can my idea work? ( Recording with the microphone & FM Radio at he same time? ) If this was implemented, under recording options and source you could pick the option 'both' instead of one or the other.

- Is it also possible to add the option to choose what frequency you are recording at? On my Sansa e280 , there is only one frequency, but I would like to record at a bit higher frequency.

I doubt you can record from two sources at the same time on most devices.  That would require two ADCs.  Plus its such a strange idea that I doubt anyone else is really interested.  You're probably going to have to look into it yourself.

It depends of the model, on the e200v1 series I think it's not possible to change frequency

Ah...ok I see. Why is that anyways? If I could change the frequency even to 24000Hz, I could get a nicer record.

What about the dual microphone/fm radio recording though? Is that possible?

Edit: It's not that strange of an idea, it's the closest I can get to HD Radio without the target having HD Radio and you can get a better sounding record from this. , no I doubt anyone would be all that interested...not many people even listen to the radio anyways anymore ( unfortunately ...)
What are ADC's ..? ???
