Possible corrupt file system fsck and chkdsk can't see
dbjork:
Sansa e280v2
Version 3.6, I can't see SVN numbers with this version, only 3.6
There's about 1 Gig of mp3 files that show up in the database that are not viewable under Files.
The database shows them in a directory called /##MUSIC#.
For a while /##MUSIC# and /##PORT# showed up under Files but not any more.
The music is all there but the /## directories can't be seen by either Unix or Windows.
I ran both fsck and chkdsk. They think things are fine.
Looking for help is difficult since all search programs appear to ignore a pound-sign

The OF creates those folders and hides them in USB mode. You won't be able to see them except when using Rockbox's USB mode.

Thanks for the explanation, but I'm still stuck. I thought the Rockbox USB mode didn't work on Sansa. Whenever I plug it into a USB port the original Sansa firmware starts up.
How did I manage to get those files on the machine? As I recall I only ever loaded music by copying it into the /MUSIC directory.
Or how do I get into Rockbox's USB mode?
funman:
USB works in current builds but not in 3.6

Thank you. I'll get the latest.
