80G Ipod freeze

I have a 80g ipod i have loaded and have been running RBox for about a month without issues...until now. Songs are either freezing (cannot play, rewind, got back to any menus) I need to reboot to get back and it does it again. This started a few days ago when songs would pause for about a half a second then continue, then stop, then continue.
running the latest RBox, the only changes I made was add new themes.
