Sansa Clip+ - Takes a while to boot when files are added to root folder
« on: July 14, 2010, 08:27:58 PM »
I've noticed that Rockbox takes a while to boot whenever changes are detected to the root folder. It's as if it's auto-updating although I have that option turned off. For example, when I add a theme and then boot to rockbox, it lags. If I just turn off the player and bring it back up without any changes, it boots up on the fly.

Is there a reason for this since there's really no change? Is it related to the fact that USB is not supported yet and must rely on the OF?
