Clip+ restarts in original firmware
miloxo:
Sorry if this a stupid question, but im completely new to rockbox.
Sooo, I installed rockbox on my clip+ and i found i simply genius. So no complaints there.
But when I connect the Clip+ to the PC and then remove it, it boots in its original firmware..
Is there a known solutions for this?

Write a USB driver for your player so that you don't have to use the OF for it.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what OF is or how to write a usb driver :(

Original Firmware. If you're not writing a USB driver, you'll have to wait for someone else to do it.
Chronon:
You end up in the original firmware because Rockbox does not have its own USB mode for this player. Rockbox detects USB insertion and boots the SanDisk firmware so that it will handle the USB session. At the end of the session you are left in the original firmware. As saratoga says, this can only be changed by adding USB functionality for this player so that booting the OF is no longer necessary.
