Some questions about IPOD and ROCKBOX

Hello to all the community.
I'm from Italy, so sorry if i made some mistake with english.
I want to have a player with a big memory (160gb is good), but with the flac support.
I want to buy an ipod, but i read that rockbox is supported only to 5.5 gen.
The latest (i think it's 8 gen) is not supported?
Is it easy to find a 5.5 gen ipod?

Yes, there are a huge number on eBay. The 5th/5.5th gen ipod is the iPod Video. The easiest way to confirm it's a Video and not a Classic (the 6th gen) is that the Video's front is a flat plastic panel (only the back is metal), whereas the Classic is entirely metal and the front has rounded edges. Not all sellers on eBay know the difference, so make sure you get the right one.

There are also iPod repair sites which sell refurbished units.

Very good.
