Sansa Clip+ - Right button does not go to next track; only Fast Fwds

The right button, no matter how short or long i press, will only fast forward thru the track and not skip to the next track on my Sansa Clip+ running ver. r27230-100702.

Is there a fix?

that wasn't the problem; Prevent Skipping was set to no.

I reset the settings and right button works correctly now.

I had the same problem after putting my Clip+ through the washing machine.
For some strange reason it fixed itself later that day without me changing anything.
