using large fonts with clip+
« on: July 01, 2010, 06:32:21 PM »
I recently rockboxed my Clip+.  What an improvement!  However, when using the larger fonts, one line is split between the yellow & blue character sections.  Is there any way to change the size of the sections or otherwise get around the split colors?  With my eyesight I need the larger fonts but the split colors make it unusable to me.

Thanks

Dennis

Use a theme meant for a larger font, or create a new theme with the spacing and font you want.

A. I've experimented with different combinations of themes & fonts but did not have much success.  Any suggestions for a good combination?

B.I have no idea how to develop a font to my needs- is there a primer anywhere here?  I'll give it a try.  The font sizes are ok -they are just in the wrong place of the size of the different color areas need to change.

You edit the theme, not the font (unless you plan on changing what the letters look like).  Theres some info in the manual and a lot more on the wiki.
