Help with using themes

I wish there was a better place I could find to ask this other than here, but I cannot find one..
I have a general question:  with RB 3.6, sansa fuse v1..

I load a theme.. for example AW140.. The WPS screen immediately shows up with the menu in what would usually be the albumart location (small window in center of screen). What I realy want is the WPS screen only whilst playing. I cannot figure out how to clear the backdrop and remove the base skin and have the menus show up on the left and using the full screen real=estate.

Can someone point me to where in the manual this is described, or at least how to do it

From looking at the theme on the Sansa Fuze theme site, I see that what you describe is actually the intended function of the theme.

To "fix" this, you have to rewrite the theme, editing the CFG file and the SBS file at least.

It's not impossible, but it's not the most simple thing in the world. Your two best bets are to find a theme that looks better to you in all screens, or jump in and try to do the editing.
