Fuze V2 - Should I upgrade OF?

Hey, first post here, and I first want to say that Rockbox is an amazing program and I thank everyone who's spending their free time making my Sansa Fuze the best MP3 player ever. :D

I have a refurbished Fuze that came preloaded with OF V2.2.26A. I loaded the current build with a manual install and didn't have any problems but I noticed there's a new version of the OF available from Sandisk. I was wondering if there's any advantage to upgrading the original firmware for my player.

The Sandisk release notes should explain what they changed in their firmware.  If you see something in there that you want in the Sandisk firmware, might as well.

Ok, but will upgrading the OF damage or bug Rockbox somehow? I want to be sure, as I think I read that my player can only upgrade and not downgrade its OF.

You'll have to reinstall the rockbox bootloader.
