WPS Radio Skin for sansa c200

So not many people are making radio skins available for download right now? That is why I cannot find a radio skin for my sansa e200?

 Hmm... I would like to make my own skin, but have no clue how ... ( plus I'd like to add a couple of other options to show on screen such as signal strength for radio { scale of 0% to 100% not sure if that can actually work } and also add a graphic bar underneath the song playing such as the one found under plugins-demos-fft, or on the original sansa firmware if you click the middle button {what is the name for that?? I know it's not just called a 'graphic bar' }
...I am a noob when it comes to skinning /programming and such, so I do not think I will be doing this any time soon ( unless someone could help me... )

-Or is that just copying / pasting code into notepad and saving the file as wps to make a theme? Because if it is, I could do that =P ( long as there is no programming involved, I am fine lol )

 I would like to modify the rockbox default theme because I like that one the best, but then when I open it, it says to not modify it because 'it is never loaded by rockbox' wierd, because I have it loaded as my while playing screen...

We all are newbies at some point, and the only thing you can do about that is to take some time and learn. :)

It is programming, in its own way, but it's not hard at all if you sit down for an hour and read some example code and look at its results, while keeping the CustomWPS page on your screen.

It's kind of like translating a paragraph in a foreign language when you don't know that language at all, but you have a dictionary. At first, you'll go slowly, since you'll probably have to look up each and every word as you read each sentence. Once you've done it for a little while, though, you'll start to remember some of the words without having to look them up, and you may notice patterns that let you guess a sentence before you've even read it.

In short, coding a WPS (or translating a paragraph) may seem intimidating, but if you put a little time into it, you can nail the basics pretty quick.

You are perfectly free to modify and use any theme to suit your needs (even the ones that come with Rockbox) - so long as you don't go around saying you're the person who made the theme to begin with, and that you don't come complaining that Rockbox suddenly broke right after you edited a WPS/SBS/config file. (There are exceptions, of course (like posting a question that has you stumped on this very section of the forum), but I think that covers what you need to know right now about the subject.)

As for editing/writing a WPS, all you have to do is open it in Notepad or an equivalent program and type away, then save the file and (if necessary) change the extension (usually .txt) to .wps. That's it. (For graphical themes, an image editor that tells you what pixel the mouse is hovering over becomes VERY handy for figuring out coordinates in the WPS. The GIMP is my personal preference.)

If you think you can do it at this point, go for it. Start small - make minor changes in a WPS you like and load it to see the results. If it doesn't suit your fancy, tweak it. Half of the fun can be just seeing what works for you. If you keep trying and become experienced, you might try tackling larger changes, or even writing a WPS from scratch and borrowing graphics (make sure those graphics are GPLed (free to use without asking) or else get permission from the author, and NEVER claim that you made them).
