Fuze v2 - 26834 latest build (and previous) - player goes silent

(1/2) > >>

Ok, my rockbox is almost unusable ;-(.  This is now happening on other albums. Funman, if you are reading this can you offer any suggestions.  Builds before 10 June seemed to be 100% stable.

Further edits

Ok, it skips AND still goes silent.  Never had any of this behaviour before on any previous builds before 11 June.  Hope this port doesn't go to final release with this behaviour.

Edited

Sorry, thought had latest build.  Have updated to 26834 now.  Now instead of going silent, it simply skips the track. Happens every time.  Never happened before.

Ignore message below.

On one particular album since upgrading to the new build the player goes silent at roughly the same point of the album and partially locks up.  Has anyone experienced something similar.  Any suggested solutions.

Seemed? Can you please make yourself a build from before and confirm this is the case?

Huh? If we're supposed to ignore it, why not just delete it?

If you have a specific file that always freezes playback, and it works in the OF or on your PC, upload it to our bug tracker.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the messy post.  I didn't know if it was appropriate to delete the text of my previous message.

Ok, tried a number of builds and same problem.  However, the fault was not with Rockbox I believe. It would seem that the album had become corrupt (never happened to me) - it was also skipping/going silent in the original firmware.  I upgraded to the latest patched firmware (.33) using the new bootloader from 6 June.  I then deleted the album and copied it again from my hard drive.  So far (fingers crossed) everything is fine.  I have become so used to the last month of having Rockbox so stable on Fuze v2 that today's problems made me panic a bit. Rockbox is so superior to the stock firmware that I really did not want to have to go back.

Thanks

It's inappropriate to delete part of your message in an edit if your message has already been replied to (generally you should never be editing to add/remove content if there's already one reply) but in the case where nobody has replied yet, removing something should generally be fine.
