opening a Fuze
(1/1)
kjikaqawej:
Hi, first time poster.
I want to open up my fuze, because I accidentally got some futz on the LCD trying to clean the edge out of some other futz that got wedged. Anyway, I don't want to break the plastic clips. What would be the best way to do this? I looked at the pictures on ABI (http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archives/2008/03/sandisk-sansa-fuze-disassembly.php) but the page doesn't get into tools, usage, etc. I don't do hardware on micro-devices, just desktop computers, so my knowledge is limited.
TIA
Simon

I recommend not opening it because its extremely difficult to get back together.

Hm OK. So I'll keep doing what I'm doing now then, which is wedging it open a bit then blowing :P. Maybe get a can of compressed air and blow the crappage out of it. Thanks for the warning.
